What type of massage do you offer at Fusion?

What happens in a consultation?
We take a detailed history from you, to determine any specific issues, and the areas you want us to work on. Essentially, you tell us what you need so we can design a personalised massage treatment plan for you – including style of massage and the pressure you prefer.
What is a treatment plan?
It’s a massage plan tailored for your individual needs. This is based on what your focus is – pain management, injury prevention, increased performance, event training or purely relaxation.
Do I have to sign up for a whole program or can I just have one-off treatments?
You can definitely have just one massage. We do single sessions of 30minutes, 45minutes, 60minutes and 90minutes.
You can also choose a treatment from our massage packages.
How much do you charge?
Prices effective 1st January 2020
Single Session Massages are:
- 30 minutes – $79
- 45 minutes – $99
- 60 minutes – $120
- 90 minutes – $165
- 120 minutes – $230
Package Massages are:
- 3 Pack $345 (available at Initial Consultation only)
- Available for purchase at Initial Consultation only
- 3-month validity from the time of purchase.
- 5 Pack 60 minutes – $575
- 5 Pack 90 minutes – $800
- 6-month validity from the time of purchase.
- 10 Pack 30 minutes -$740
- 10 Pack 45 minutes – $940
- 10 Pack 60 minutes – $1125
- 10 pack 90 minutes – $1575
- 12-month validity from the time of purchase.
Do I need a referral?
No, you don’t need a GP’s referral to make an appointment for massage.
Can I claim on Medicare?
No, massage therapy is not claimable through Medicare, however most private health funds provide cover.
Which private health funds are you registered with?
All Fusion Massage practitioners are registered with the major private health funds. Please check with your health fund to make sure you can claim for massage therapy.
Do you offer massage under workers’ compensation?
No. We are not a workers’ compensation provider. Your GP should be able to advise you on providers in these cases.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard and EFTPOS transactions. We also provide HICAPS on-the-spot private health claims for your convenience. Unfortunately, we’re unable to accept cash.
Do you offer a mobile or at-home massage service?
Yes. We are conveniently located in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs and Fusion Massage also offers mobile massage. Prices are based on a minimum 1-hour massage plus travel time, depending on where you live. We completely look after you in the comfort of your own home and supply all the equipment. We just ask for organised parking, and payment at the time you book.
Are your massage therapists male or female – and can I choose?
We have both male and female therapists and yes, you can absolutely choose which you prefer.
What qualifications do your therapists have?
All Fusion Massage therapists have a minimum Diploma in Massage Therapy, are Industry Accredited and have current insurances. For your added security, they also have current reference checks, police and working with children checks.
What massage oils do you use?
We use hypoallergenic oils and balms – and we have a range you can choose from. Please let us know if you have allergies to any specific oils so we can accommodate your needs.
What if I have to cancel an appointment?
We completely understand there may be times you can’t make your massage appointment. However, if you need to cancel or reschedule, we require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice, otherwise FULL FEE cancellation applies. We appreciate your cooperation.
